Gymnastic classes are based on a progressive learning system, emphasizing safety and success. Athletes will be guided through specific drills and exercises, while progressing from beginner to advanced levels. Athletes will be working on all Olympic events such as; Floor Exercises, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Vault. Further, they will use trampolines, foam pits, spring floors and a large variety of small specialized equipment. Our objectives for your athlete include increasing strength, flexibility, and coordination. Our goal for your child is to become a hard working, self-confident and healthy individual.

Preschool Gymnastics

Preschool gymnastics classes stimulate imaginative play and exercise. Our staff begins each class with an opening activity designed to further participation and creative action. Once their muscles are warm the coaches assist the athletes through a series of obstacle courses. Each obstacle course provides a variety of motor skills, exercises, and gymnastic skills for the class to work through and become proficient.

From infant to toddler, Gold Medal Gym’s Parent/Child classes provide a strong foundation in gymnastics for your young athlete’s first three years. Weekly classes will help your child achieve new milestones and prepare for more advanced programs during each stage of development. Since you are along for the ride, you will be able to celebrate with smiles, hugs, and a parent/child bond that cannot be paralled .

Recreational Gymnastics

Gold Medal Gym’s gymnastic programs are designed for children that want to learn basic skills while building strength and improving flexibility, but are not interested in gymnastic competitions. Gold Medal Gyms offers recreational gymnastics classes and program to suit any age and skill level. Recreational Gymnast athletes will be trained on most of the same gymnastics equipment as the competition gymnasts use to train such as, the spring floor, balance beam, uneven bars, vault, pit, trampoline, and various types of mats.
