If you want to keep your child busy this summer, and you are looking for opportunities for them to get involved, gymnastics camp might be a perfect fit. If you\u2019re interested in enrolling your child in gymnastics camps, Gold Medal Gyms has a few tips on what to pack.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Practice Clothes<\/span><\/h2>\n

There will be long days during gymnastics camp, which means you\u2019re going to need to have practice clothes available. Whether it\u2019s leotard or regular workout clothes, you\u2019ll need plenty of them. If you\u2019re not sure what types of clothes to bring, ask your coach or see if there is a packing list available to follow.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunscreen<\/span><\/h2>\n

Depending on the camp, there are days you may be outside the entire day. Bringing a bottle of sunscreen is a good idea, so you won\u2019t get burned. While you may not use it, it\u2019s good to have it available just in case.<\/span><\/p>\n

Water Bottle<\/span><\/h2>\n

Staying hydrated is essential in any sport, as it keeps your body running and cooled off during warm summer days. You should be drinking at least 4-5 water bottles worth of water per day to continue to stay hydrated. While your camp may supply a water cooler, pack a water bottle just in case. You\u2019ll be surprised how much water you\u2019ll go through.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Skill Set<\/span><\/h2>\n

While your coaches won\u2019t expect you to be perfect at the sport, you\u2019ll want to bring your A-game to thrive in gymnastics camp. Any knowledge you have about the sport will be useful, from communication to technique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
